Q: I curbed some of my wheels and need to know what it would cost me?

A: There are many factors to look at when repairing a curbed or damaged rim such as the type of finish and the severity of the damage to the wheels. To provide you with an accurate quote, we will need to assess the damage. This can be done by emailing a picture of the rims to info@wheelrepairspecialists.com or by booking a free assessment with one of our specialists

Q: I have a hairline crack on my wheel. How much would it cost to repair?

A: Due to the force, a cracked wheel also indicates that the rim is bent. To provide you with an accurate quote, we would need to assess the severity of the damage by spinning the wheel and inspecting the crack. Generally, our starting price is $100 (per wheel) for the repairs with an additional fixed cost of $20 (per wheel) to dismount, balance, and remount the wheel. However, this price is subject to the severity of the damage, which will need to be assessed by one of our specialists. Repairing a cracked rim is a same day service

Q: I have a 2012 car and the wheels are starting to look shoddy. What will it cost to make them new again?

A: Depending on the state of the rims, our starting cost to repair and powder coat the rim is $150 (per wheel) with an additional fixed cost of $20 (per wheel) to dismount, balance, and remount the wheel. This cost is for alloy wheels up to 20 inches in diameter. This price is subject to the condition of the wheels, which will need to be assessed by one of our specialists.

Q: Can curb rash on alloy wheels be touched up?

A: A curb rash can be touched up, but it also depends on how large the curb rash is. We will need to assess the damage to provide accurate advice on whether the wheel can be repaired. This can be done by emailing a picture of the rims to info@wheelrepairspecialists.com or by booking a free assessment with one of our specialists.

Q: Is it possible to wait for a repair?

A: Our repairs usually take between 2 to 2 ½ hours depending on what needs to be done. You are welcome to wait, but rather advise you to come back once the repairs are completed. If we have a spare wheel in store, we will gladly replace the damaged wheel with the spare so you can use your car.

Q: Can I bring the whole car in and then leave it at your premises, or do I have to bring only the wheels in?

A: You are welcome to book your car in and leave the rest up to us. We will contact you once the wheels have been perfected and your car is ready to be collected.

Q: What is the warranty on the work?

A: At Wheel Repair Specialists, we take pride in our work, which is why we offer all our customers a 1-year warranty on all our services and repairs.
